Portage County Health & Human Services is a Portage County Department which provides public health services, social services, economic support services, and mental health services to the citizens of Portage County. Our Mission is: To promote the health, safety, and well-being of Portage County residents.

Description:
Social Services include: Child Abuse and Neglect Services; Delinquency, Truancy, and Parent Child Conflict services; Services for Disabled Children and Families; Services for the Seriously Mentally Ill; Adult Protective Services.

Economic Support Services include, Food Share (Food Stamps), Medical Assistance, Badger Care Plus, Child Care Assistance.

Mental Health Services include Psychiatric Services, Psychological Counseling,Psychological Evaluations, Family Counseling, Couples Counseling.

Public Health Services include Communicable Disease monitoring, School Health Nursing, Prenatal Care Coordination, Environmental Health Services.
