Agency - Marshfield Area Respite Care Center

MARCC will provide care and socialization for individuals with Parkinson's, Alzheimer's disease and other dementia in a safe and supportive environment. MARCC also provides time, support, educational information and referrals for caregivers.

Description:
MARCC is designed for those with Parkinson', Alzheimer's disease and other dementia and their caregivers. Activities for socialization, creative expression and physical exercise for participants are some of the services of this program. It also provides time off for caregivers. MARCC days/hours are Monday through Friday 10-4 pm. A participant can enroll for full or half days. MARCC is located in the Friendship Room of the Wesley United Methodist Church. The service provides an opportunity for participants and caregivers to reduce isolation, make new friends and enjoy life more fully. If interested contact Marilyn at 715-384-8478
