LLO programs offer opportunities for adults with disabilities to increase self-sufficiency, improve life skills, enhance communication and provide for safe activities.
Description:
Lifelong Learning Opportunities (LLO) is a monthly program for adults with disabilities age 16 and older. LLO provides educational and social activities in a safe, supportive environment on the University of Wisconsin-Marshfield/Wood County campus, 2000 W. Fifth St., Marshfield. The intent of the LLO program is to increase self-sufficiency, improve life skills, enhance communication and provide safe activities for adults with disabilities. Given the opportunity to interact socially, participants form relationships with other participants, volunteers and caregivers. Caregivers, families and friends are welcome at LLO events.
