OUR MISSION . Public Housing Family- to provide decent and safe housing for participating families, promoting a step of upward mobility on the road to financial independence Public Housing Elderly- to provide a residential environment to promote independent living and to slow the social, physical and psychological regression characteristics of the aging process. To participate in community development projects and activities as needed and as financially feasible.
Description:
CDA is a separate body politic, created and established for the City of Marshfield, to carry out blight elimination, slum clearance, urban renewal programs and housing projects. CDA is governed by a seven (7) member Board of Commissioners, who are appointed by the Mayor and confirmed by the Common Council. Operating funds are generated by tenant rents, interest from investments and a federal operation subsidy. CDA staff includes: The Executive Director, Housing Operations Director, Office/Procurement Coordinator, Site Manager, Section 8 Coordinator, Environmental Services Manager, Project Assistant, Maintenance, Housekeeping and Facility Caretakers for Cedar Rail and Parkview.
