Aqua Skiers, Inc.

The Aqua Skiers are organized exclusively for the charitable and educational purpose of educating youth of the appropriate techniques, rules, regulations and safety involved in the sport of water-skiing and boating.

Description:
The Aqua Skiers are a competitive water ski show team. Show skiing has a place for everyone. We'll teach you to ski but if that's not your thing you may want to do the sound, or drive/ride in a towboat or safety boat. There is always something to do for those that want to participate. Members are required to also be members of the Wisconsin Water Ski Federation and USA-Water Ski for insurance purposes.
The team competes each year at the State/Regional Tournament and if they qualify go on to nationals.
Membership is open to all individuals who are interested in water skiing regardless of experience.

History:
The Aqua Skiers formed in 1959 and incorporated in 1960. They host the "world's largest water ski tournament" which Jack Lukes started in 1967 in Wisconsin Rapids. In 2004 the Aqua Skiers became a 501c3 organization and are tax exempt.
