The Portage County Coalition for Alcohol and Drug Abuse Prevention focuses on awareness, education, and advocacy. Our mission is to reduce high risk drinking through positive adult modeling.

Description:
This coalition now has over 75 community members who look forward to making a difference in the area of alcohol and drug abuse prevention. As we work together, we hope to achieve long term cultural change that supports positive adult modeling and decreases the harmful effects of high risk drinking among our residents. The Coalition has four Action teams that focus on community education and awareness; advocacy; community prevention strategies; and evaluation, data monitoring, and research.
