The Portage County Hunger Prevention Partnership is made up of individuals from both the public and private sector. Their mission is to "develop prevention and intervention strategies to increase food security in Portage County".

Description:
The Portage County Mobile Pantry provides a monthly supplemental supply of groceries to rural residents in need. Groceries are provided by local businesses, organizations, and individuals.

History:
The PCHPP was formed in October 2000, after the first Portage County Hunger Summit. The PC Mobile Pantry began delivering groceries to rural families in Almond and Junction City shortly thereafter.
