The mission of the Convention and Visitors Bureau is to bring visitors into Portage County which in turn will boost the local economy.
Description:
Our responsibility is to promote the Stevens Point Area to leisure, business and group travelers. We also provide "visitor friendly" services in a helpful and efficient manner.
If you enjoy meeting and talking to people from all over the United States as well as other countries, take pride in your community, have a desire to share the beauty and uniqueness of the Stevens Point area to others and would like to be a part of bringing in over $100 million tourism dollars annually to Portage County this is an opportunity you should not pass up!
History:
Our organization has been serving the community for nearly 20 years. Our Visitor Information Center attracts thousands of travelers each year.
