Riverview Hospital Association is dedicated to excellent patient care and satisfaction. As a part of the Association team, you are expected to perform your duties in a manner that enhances the care and satisfaction of the patient, their families, and visitors.

It is the goal of our volunteer program to assist the Association in responding to our customer's needs with quality services in a professional, caring manner.

There are a variety of volunteer opportunities to choose from including: Patient Escorts, Lifeline Installers, Home Delivered Meals Drivers, Volunteens, or you may become a member of the Riverview Hospital Auxiliary.

History:
Riverview Hospital Association was organized by community leaders in 1912 to operate a local hospital and otherwise fill the health care needs of Wisconsin Rapids, South Wood County and the surrounding areas. Riverview Hospital Association today remains one of the few independent, community-owned and operated health care providers in Wisconsin.

Riverview Hospital has expanded many times over the years. The current hospital building opened at 410 Dewey Street in 1967, with additions in 1976, 1983, 1994, 2002, and 2003.

Riverview Physician Services, organized in 1996 to fill a community need for primary medical care in the physician office setting. This service includes offices in Wisconsin Rapids, Nekoosa and the Rome-Lakes area.
