The mission of Children's Service Society of Wisconsin is to build, sustain and enhance a nurturing environment for Wisconsin Children.
Description:
CSSW provides Child and Family Counseling in our Stevens Point office. Licensed therapists provide outpatient therapy for children and their families who need help with academic or behavioral school problems, low self-esteem, depression, anxiety, problems due to divorce, separation, remarriage or death of a loved one, parent-child conflicts, and physical, sexual, emotional abuse or other trauma. Child and Family Counseling is available for all Portage County children and their families. We accept Medical Assistance and offer a sliding fee scale for families without insurance or the financial resources to pay for the service.
History:
CSSW was established in 1889 to provide homes for orphaned and abandoned children. CSSW is now the largest private, not-for-profit provider of child welfare services in Wisconsin.
