Assists participants with dementia achieve goals through activities. A volunteer must be able to be patient, communicate well and loving to individuals who suffer from memory impairments. These participants may have repetitive behaviors which will require a volunteer to have patience and kind. Activities performed are simple in nature and require minimal skill except for the patience and ability to perform tasks with calmness and love. Volunteer Program Assistants can work within their own limitations. This opportunity is sponsored by: Marshfield Area Respite Care Center
